Art Wars is a fast-paced, high-energy art competition where high school students have 1.5 to 2 hours to create an original piece based on a surprise prompt. Artists compete in one of five categories: Drawing, Painting, Clay, Digital Art, or Digital Photography. Each student also writes an artist statement explaining their creative process and intent. Artwork is judged live by professionals, giving students real-time feedback. It’s a bold, engaging experience that builds confidence, sharpens skills, and connects creativity to real-world opportunities.
